Mahindra South Africa unveils the "Mahindra Earthmaster" Backhoe Loader at the bauma CONEXPO AFRICA 2018

Mahindra Construction Equipment: Mahindra South Africa, today unveiled the Mahindra EarthMaster Backhoe Loader. The Backhoe loader is powered by Turbocharged Intercooled, Mahindra DITEC Diesel Engine which develops 79.89 Ps (80 HP). Mahindra EarthMaster 4WD is a substantially faster machine loaded with features that lead to far greater productivity. Banana Boom with 7%* more reach, Rugged and reputed Parker Gear Pump, Maximum Dig Depth: 4947 mm#, Loader Dump Height: 2708 mm.

The Mahindra EarthMaster comes with an Ergonomic layout and seating – all controls are, smooth and easy to reach, Advanced Joystick Control Easy to operate Control Levers, with plush car like interiors, Personal Storage Space and Tool Box with easy access. Higher speed both in forward and reverse coupled with Reduced cycle time in loading conditions improves machine productivity and savings on fuel.

The Mahindra EarthMaster uses components from world renowned suppliers such as the transmission and axle comes from Carraro Italy, the hoses are from Gates Imperial US, Hydraulic pump and O rings from Parker US and the Hydraulic Valve from Husco US.

The cab is a modular design with corrugated roof for better heat dissipation, also ensuring it is aesthetically appealing. Mahindra South Africa is busy discussing with one of the renowned companies in South Africa for the distribution of the backhoe loaders.

Mahindra South Africa displayed wide range of their product portfolio ranging from Bakkies, Tractors, TLB’s and Generator which complements the requirements suited for the Construction Industry. Mahindra SA CEO Rajesh Gupta has emphasised “Mahindra is a long- haul player in South Africa and we would be expanding our product portfolios in all verticals. We are also busy setting up an assembly plant for our bakkies which should be operational soon.

Moving forward we would also assemble the Generators in South Africa this will benefit the consumers in terms of affordability with no compromise on the built quality. On the Construction Equipment’s we are in an advanced stage of discussions with a local partner and should be able to start retailing by mid this year.”
